Mrs. Thamayanthi Daniel — Principal (from 2023)
We welcome every child into a caring community where academic rigour meets character formation. At CSI Bain Kodungaiyur, we work with parents to help students grow in wisdom, discipline, and service—true to our motto, Founded on Rock.

CSI Bain Kodungaiyur was the vision of Bishop Rt. Rev. Dr. V. Devasagayam, who wished to extend ministry through education to the area of Kodungaiyur, away from the centre of Chennai. The established Bain School Kilpauk supported the venture. Mrs. Lenora James, Principal of Bain School, served as the first Correspondent of this school.
The school opened in June 2004 with 35 students at the KG level and four teachers. We follow the Matriculation syllabus of the Tamil Nadu Government. We offer a liberal Christian education aimed at holistic development, with moral and ethical values. The day begins with morning school prayers according to Christian usage, and Christian students attend compulsory Scripture classes.
